Seeing Red

I've had a pair of classic red pumps for over a year now. They were a birthday gift from my in-laws. They're all high heeled, patent leather, pointy toe goodness. And they're Cole Haan with Nike Air technology, which means I can wear them for hours and hours and hours. There are times whens I know I'm going to be spending a lot of time on my feet and I choose my Cole Haan heels over any of my flats. They're that good. Over a year later, I still get compliments every single time I wear them out. I had them on over the weekend and got into a conversation with a few friends who are on the hunt for red shoes themslves.

Shoe shopping can be tricky on St Thomas. We've got Kmart. We've got Payless. We've got BCBG and 2-3 other nice chain stores. The end. Most of my shoe shopping is done online. I love the process of hunting down exactly what I want. Once upon a time I had a boyfriend that wouldn't take me turkey hunting no matter how much I begged because he said I wasn't patient enough. But he never saw me stalk websites and wait for the just right pair of shoes to come along. His lack of appreciation for my skills led to the demise of our relationship. His being a total selfish jerk helped in that area too. Anywhooo, to help out my St. Thomian friends, and because I firmly believe every woman needs a pair of nice red pumps in her closet, I've rounded up a few of my favorite options currently on the interwebs.

All of these can be shipped to St Thomas. For free. And if they don't fit, you can return them for free as well. I like to do things right. Who wants to take me turkey hunting?
